Gli album più importanti del nostro continente

Come senz'altro saprete, non tutti i dischi di Elvis sono stati emessi in Europa. E viceversa... Nel nostro continente abbiamo emissioni (spesso migliori di quelle americane) che non sono mai state pubblicate "a casa" di Elvis.
La politica scriteriata della RCA ha creato questo ed altro e, se aggiungiamo il fatto che la RCA è stata assorbita dalla BMG nel 1987 e che la BMG a sua volta, dal 2003 fa parte della SONY, la frittata è fatta... Il caos è completo.

Non mi sembrava giusto lasciare fuori dal sito e dal forum queste emissioni ed è per questo che, anche con il vostro aiuto, vorrei tentare di ricostruire una sorta di discografia europea, con i dischi e i CD più importanti, da inserire, una volta terminato tutto, sul sito di EICC.

Siccome farò questo lavoro "in diretta" sul forum, aggiungerò in fondo a questo mio primo intervento, la lista dei titoli, anno per anno, man mano che saranno qui inseriti.

Ricordo che la raccolta "THE ESSENTIAL COLLECTION" ebbe una grossa spinta da parte della TV e della radio con frequenti spot pubblicitari;
Il francesce "The legend " è invece un CD abbastanza raro e ricercato nel mercato del Compact Disc.

Vero. "A legend" è davvero di non facile reperibilità e molto costoso.
Ho preso il vinile per pochi soldi ma il CD lo lascio dov'è, a quei prezzi che sfondano i 50 euro !
